Started back to work on this one.
Toya has fantastic dreadlocks which look awesome, but wow they are time consuming to sculpt!

Nude sculpture -" TC sitting pose #1"

I did a bit of work on this new sculpture "TC-sitting pose #1" (temporary title)

The goal at this early stage is to find an interesting and expressive pose, decide on the bits to highlight, and think ahead to how it will be molded to make a cast.

So far I really like the back view, and I plan to feature the unusual way she twists her right ankle.

My next step is to design and sculpt a rock, or something else that she is sitting on.
