Low relief sculpture of my family... in-progress

This will be a low-relief sculpture for over my fireplace.
I will sculpt it, make a rubber mold, then cast in special plaster.

It's a difficult and fun challenge to cast family or friends. The reference photo is from about 8 years ago.

Lots more work to do but I'm happy with how it's starting.

Male Torso

This sculpture is a study I made of a male torso.
I plan to cast it in plaster and use it as a referance for my students and for my own future projects.
I did this one at a workshop presented by Alicia Ponzio and hosted by Dogtown Sculptors
