Why are Artists obsessed with nudes ?

Drawings, paintings, photography, and particularly sculptures are often nudes.

Why?

1. Intrinsic beauty

Nude people are beautiful. Part of it is sexual, but it's much more than just that.

I recently started to re-sculpt this one from a previous composition.
I'm still developing the composition, but it's starting to come to life.

I might add or remove cloths, and I plan to add a wolf to the scene.
